Summary
The Haven's have served in every war their country has asked of them. Some survived, some didn't. They never thought their lineage would outlast the country they bled for.
After the fall of the US, Haven sent his aging parents to France, a place his father was familiar with from service in the Great War. In his mind, he needed his parents that far to avoid the wrath of the ISA he was about to bring down upon him.
