Origins

Senator Palatine Victor Alfonzo Borghese IV was born to wealthy aristocrats in Firenze, not far from the House Borghese's seat of power. Unlike the other nobles that resisted the rise of Fascist Italy, Victor Alfonzo was one of the first to join with Mussolini's rise to power, serving as his dedicated left-hand man. Originally someone who was of astute political knowledge and a sense of pragmatic justice and welfare for the people he ruled over, an experiment in his lab in 1938 in an attempt to artificially infuse occult powers through mechanical means resulted in the rapid degeneration of his mental stability, made more dangerous by his growing dominance in the Italian Senate.
